Visit a hobby farm & Learn about LLamas
Nemeton Sanctuary was founded in 2000 as a retirement venue for former city condo dwellers. In the past decade, we have made great inroads into becoming more self-sufficient and more aware of the natural world and its wonders.
We are willing to share our vision and insights with those interested in what it means to leave the "real" world and embark on a journey of self discovery. It is an adventure and full of new things to learn about nature each day.
Hobby Farm
Basically, if you are a hobby farm, you aren't making any money but enjoy what you do and learn by it. Our goal was to experience not to profit or even to be productive in terms of what that means to others. We are content to share our lives with these three majestic beasts - who become our teachers. We learn more from them than they care to learn from us!

Llama School - Located on Nemeton Sanctuary Campus
Llamas are very intelligent animals but remain aloof like cats. One of the aspects of "llama School" is that you will leave understanding the psychology of animals in the food chain, how and why they do certain things that are unique to their species and how they intuit and sense those around them.
Romy, Noppy & Derf
You are welcome to stop in and visit with the llamas and attend an impromptu Llama School class. The llamas like the attention of visitors and we will provide snacks for you to feed them from your hand.
