Use exit #14 from I-77, going west toward Galax;
through Independence;
continue west approximately 16 more miles.
Virginia Lane is about two miles past the new Mouth of Wilson post office.
Total distance from I-77 is 40.3 miles.
OR
Exit #45 off I-81 for Rt. 16 going south.
Rt. 16 merges with Rt. 58 at the Log Cabin Restaurant.
Continue east one mile on Rt. 58 toward Independence.
Watch for Virginia Lane with dark green mailbox,
llama sign and a large attention flag.
Drive all the way to the far end of Virginia Lane -
signs on the telephone poles.

We have had some bad exeriences with our GPS directions taking us on the most indirect and mountainous roads. The route recommended are NOT preferable in our opinion. We highly recommend that you use the directions printed above rather than be directed to a bad experience by your GPS, especially coming from the north on I-77 or I-88.
