Nemeton is a Celtic word meaning sanctuary or sacred place. In ancient cultures, a Nemet was a place of sanctuary where you could not be pursued.
A nemet grows in intensity; this is called the Buddhafield or conditional resonance. As we begin our 11th year, we retreat deeper into solitude and focus, rather like the Tibetian monks who spend weeks, months and many tedius hours making an elaborate sand paintings that are swept away when completed.
There is a building neural network out there; not a formal connection but a deeper intuitive response to join in the harmonic tone. People may never meet, their paths may never cross but the intensity of the vibration is radiating. We salute all those who are changing pitch from the past and singing the song within their hearts that will change the world - one person at a time.

Understanding Meditation
Meditation is an inner state of listening. Not to be confused with prayer but it must be combined with study to seek understanding. One must seek to understand compassion; seek to understand gratitude, seek to understand peace. It is the only option to militarism, something that is promoted through our institutional and religious organizations.
We must strive for understanding peace
to change the culture around us.

Sacred Abaton
In the tradition of the Asclepius Dream Temples, an Abaton was the inner most sacred chamber. The original dream temple was in Epidaurus, Greece and the vision or insight gained in dreams was the epiphany, the origin of the word we use today. We have created a simple shelter in a very isolated and private location on Nemeton. It is based on ancient tradtions and practices that we wish to share with others.
